Chandra Chhen is a thoughtful renovation of a compact apartment for a chef who lives abroad. Wanting a place to feel at home during his visits, he envisioned a space centered around what matters most to him—his kitchen.
After careful study of the layout, we removed certain walls to open up the plan and added new partitions where needed to better define private and shared spaces. The result is a warm, functional home designed for both family and culinary inspiration.
We prioritized locally sourced materials throughout the project, grounding the apartment in its Nepali context while giving it a timeless, modern character. The outcome is a beautiful, personal retreat—crafted with intention and care.
